Yesterday, Sept 25th, HealthBread’s press and stakeholder event was held at Academia Barilla in Parma. Journalists, millers, academics, bakers and representatives from ingredients companies attended. The Project Coordinator Jan Willem van der Kamp (TNO), Silvia Folloni and Roberto Ranieri (Open Fields) presented the first year results obtained from this FP7 European project. Vice-presidents of the Baker Association of Parma contributed to a further discussion on consumers’ bread preferences and bread market trends at both local and national level.
